Treat your feet with these top tips

Feet can often be forgotten about when it comes to a daily beauty regime, but when you think about it maybe they need the most care. After being squished into pointy toed shoes and balancing on impossibly high heels during the party season, maybe it’s time they received a little bit of love.
The Upcoming has three top tips for you to treat your toes and get pretty party feet in time for your next night out. Foot massage
Soak
The cheapest and easiest way to revive tired toes is to soak them in a bowl of warm water with peppermint oil or sea salt. Peppermint oil will help revive your feet by improving circulation, making them feel instantly less weary. After your 10-20 minute soak, towel dry and massage in a rich moisturiser – with added peppermint is ideal – and allow it to absorb, and then wrap in a pair of socks to aid moisturising. Not only will your feet be super soft and feel revived, but they will also smell minty fresh!
Scrub
Exfoliating your feet is a great way to get rid of dry and dead skin. A coarse scrub is best to get rid of hard skin, or you can try making your own with sea salt, honey and your favourite scented oil. If you don’t have these ingredients to hand, try using olive oil which is a great moisturiser too. Massage into your feet and wrap them in a warm, damp towel and lay with them on a pillow – elevating them to improve blood circulation – for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.
Soothe
Moisturising is the key to soft feet and the best time to do it is through the night, or after a shower or bath when your skin is softer. Just before bedtime, lather your feet in a moisturiser with shea butter, cocoa butter or nut oils and pop on a pair of cotton socks. In the morning your feet will feel noticeably softer.
