If you are still mourning the festive
period then it’s time to brush off those winter blues and embrace the
upcoming beauty season and what it has to offer in 2013. Luxury
cosmetics brand Lancôme has launched its new and limited edition make-up
for spring/summer entitled In Love. As the name suggests the
collection is flourishing with bright and girly products, perfect for
when the days get that little bit warmer.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson has been the face of the brand since 2011 and she models the new collection in such style, making this her fourth campaign for Lancôme. Looking feminine, even with her short hair slicked back, Emma Watson portrays the collection in a fun and youthful way; with every essence of the English rose that she is. She pulls off turquoise eyes and bright pink blush (colours that feature in the collection) whilst still managing to look ever so classy, we just don’t know how she does it!
The collection is vibrant and fresh, with orange and fuchsia blushers; but there are also contrasting luminous pastel shades and a sophisticated peachy nail varnish. It’s easy to see the influences of spring floral and neon city lights in this collection. We can’t wait to swap our dull, dark winter makeup for candy lips and jade eyes.
Lancôme have even adapted the products so they not only fit in aesthetically for the season but also in terms of design. Including lipsticks with a brand new shea butter formula, to help prevent sunburn and dry lips. Also a dewy skincare mist, which will be just the thing we need to cool us down; and the great thing is it can be used as a primer too – perfect!
